Appeal Court Confirms P2P Ruling
It looks like the Ninth Circuit Court agreed with my "guns don't kill people" analogy by ruling that Peer-to-Peer software companies aren't liable for those who use their networks to infringe on copyrights. You can find a .pdf of the complete ruling
here. A pretty impressive win, given the Grand Canyon deep pockets of the plaintiffs, which included RCA Records, BMG Music, Sony Music, Virgin Records, Walt Disney Records and Zoomba Recording Corp.
